Project Capability Analysis and Advice
  • Assess what is required in terms of the people, processes, systems and external dependencies for specific developments to be successful based on factors such as:

    • location;
    • infrastructure constraints;
    • availability of specialists,
    • contractors and labour;
    • material availability and methods of delivery; and
    • contract forms and complexity.
  • Provide advice on the range of delivery, or implementation options, including and recommendations supported by analysis of pros/cons.
Project Specific Development Strategy and Execution Plans
  • Develop project specific Development Strategies that consider and address critical success factors, hurdles and defined objectives.

  • Draft Project Execution Plan covering design, authority approvals, primary procurement and delivery through operational acceptance and handover and incorporating all other aspects of the development.




Objectives and Value Definition enabling Effective Risk and Value Engineering
  • Establish what is ‘valuable’ against both delivery and operating parameters to ensure effective value engineering, rather than cost engineering.
  • Validate objectives against defined value criteria

Project Risk Assessment, Management and Planning
  • Assess risks/issues and opportunities and establish robust mitigation/realization plans.

  • Incorporate mitigation/realization plan cost, programme and resources into Budgets, Programmes and Resource planning.

Cost and Programme Contingency Management
  • Assess appropriate contingencies based on development and design maturity.

  • Undertake Monte Carlo analysis as required to set defensible contingency levels and management plans.
